Building Facade Cladding Works
Facade cladding works are ongoing in the Defanse Housing district, maintaining high construction standards.
The works have been entrusted to leading companies in the industry:
- “ASEDL”– the company specializes in the design, production, and installation of glass, metal-plastic, aluminum, and metal structures, ensuring results that meet European standards. It has more than 10 production facilities and around 250 employees, maintaining a stable and leading position in the market.
- “Master Glass” – carries out the production of glass facade stained-glass structures and constructions.
- “Smart Facade” – specializes in the implementation of ventilated facade systems for residential and multi-apartment complexes. The works are carried out using high-quality materials from “Alternativa” («Альтернатива»).
The cladding of commercial spaces located on the ground floors is carried out using finely cut and rough-finished basalt stone.
The cladding of the buildings is carried out with the installation of ventilated facade systems. For thermal insulation of the cladding, double-layer basalt wool is used, each layer being 50 cm thick (with densities of 75 and 35 kg/m³). This is an environmentally friendly material with a fibrous structure obtained from natural stone, which provides effective thermal and sound insulation. A fire-resistant membrane film with waterproofing properties is also applied.
For facade tiling, high-quality porcelain stoneware tiles with a distinctive style from «Kerama Marazzi» have been selected. The thickness of the tiles is 9 mm.
In total, about 400,000 sq.m of porcelain stoneware tiles are used, presented in five main shades.
