The Establishment Of Central Forest Park

In the 140 ha district, the construction area of multi-apartment residential buildings is only 25%.

Dense planting of trees is carried out along the entire perimeter of the new district (5500 m long), except 5 road junctions connecting the district with the external road network, 20-70 m wide, dust-absorbing and noise-absorbing forest strip is established.

Additionally, there will be around 25 ha of green zones in the areas surrounding the buildings and courtyards.

The chosen tree species are widely used in urban planning, they are long-lasting and provide ample shade.

Plane trees are planted around the perimeter of the district. Their leaves can absorb dust.

Along the walkways of the central forest park, two rows of red maples are planted.

Thujas are planted in areas designated for rose bushes in silver spruce park, and sakuras are planted along the trails connecting these areas.

More than 3500 trees were brought from Italy, planted, and processed with the participation of Italian dendrologists.

Bike and jogging paths more than 2500 m long and a 6.5 m wide illuminated walkway are being constructed, along which lanterns and benches are installed, designed by leading companies for the Defanse Housing district.

Works on creating rainwater drainage systems and drip irrigation for the central forest park have been completed. Pipelines were installed and reinforced concrete hatches were added.

Equipment installation has commenced in 5 fountain complexes, and construction is underway in the district for Armenia's largest color-sound and laser fountain complex.
